Making the decision to begin a process of growth and change can be a difficult one, no matter the context in which this decision is made. Often, people are brought to the decision of whether or not to begin therapy by difficult circumstances, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and any number of situations that lead to emotional and relational distress. It is my belief that the process of therapy can help people live more fulfilling lives, both through the healing of wounds as well as the discovery and greater understanding of the self.
